What exactly do we clean?
Simply Clean Standard Checklist
Bathrooms
- Clean light fixtures
- Clean blinds, window sills, and high furniture/ wall hangings
- Clean shower or tub, drain, faucets, shower heads
- Clean outside, top, sides, base of toilet, inside bowl, and inside rim of toilet
- Wipe floor around base and behind toilet
- Clean counters, sink, faucets, and drain on vanity
- Clean the outside of cabinets and drawers
- Wipe underneath cabinets
- Clean mirrors
- Dry all surfaces
- Empty trash and replace with fresh bag
Kitchen
- Clean light fixtures
- Clean blinds, window sills, and high furniture/ wall hangings
- Unload and load dishwasher or wash by hand dirty dishes
- Clean interior and exterior of microwave
- Clean exterior of oven door, range/stovetop, venthood
- Clean exterior of Refrigerator
- Clean exterior of Dishwasher
- Clean outside cabinets and drawers
- Clean countertops
- Clean sinks, drains, faucets
- Wipe underneath cabinets
- Dry all surfaces
- Empty trash and replace with a fresh bag
Bedrooms / General Rooms
- Organize clutter and fold clean clothes
- Make beds
- Knock down cobwebs
- Clean fan units and fan blades
- Dust doors and door frames
- Clean vents
- Clean blinds, window sills, and wall hangings
- Clean tables and high furniture
- Clean mirrors and glass doors
- Clean exterior of washer and dryer/ laundry room items and cabinets
Floors / Misc
- Apply carpet deodorizer lightly to carpets and rugs
- Vacuum mats in bathrooms and kitchen
- Vacuum carpet and rugs
- Sweep hard floors
Check Over Checklists
- Leave Thank You note
- Load cleaning supplies
- Mop starting furthest from the exit, toward the exit
- Turn off appropriate lights and lock up
